Behavioral Ecology of Vertebrates (WFSC 622) is a Web-based, graduate-level course offered for academic credit by Texas A&M University each summer.

This course is designed for those who are fascinated with animal behavior and want to learn more about how critters relate to each other and to their natural environments. The emphasis is on learning "the science behind the myths" encountered in popular culture. Participants with diverse backgrounds and learning styles are welcome.

Course topics include: behavior of vertebrates in response to ecological factors; use of space and other resources including habitat selection, foraging strategies, mating systems, and the overall organization of reproduction. <Printable Syllabus>
